Africa Footprints Guesthouse opened in January 2008, we are a 4-star luxurious, upmarket boutique hotel situated in a tranquil, safe suburban setting only 7km from the International O.R Tambo Airport, and within walking distance of Shopping centres and Restaurants.

We have 14 en-suite rooms all with their own entrances. all our rooms are non-smoking but we do have designated areas on the property for smokers.

All our rooms are beautifully decorated with an African feeling, they have air-conditioning, we provide you with complimentary coffee/tea that can be enjoyed outside overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Our linen is from the finest percale linen which is soft and luxurious.
All our rooms have a shower/bath and in our executive rooms have both. DSTV is available in the rooms, daily cleaning service is provided, and guest amenities are available in the rooms.

We provide secure parking and we can gladly provide Airport transfers on request. Our establishment can also arrange daily tour packages through our trusted tour operators.

All our rates include bed and breakfast.
Our breakfast consists of a continental breakfast such as fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, coffee, tea, toast, bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, and more that you can enjoy in our dining room overlooking the beautiful gardens.
Dinner is only prepared on requests or you can enjoy dinner at any of the 15 restaurants within walking distance from our guesthouse. All our meals are prepared the traditional South African way.....Come and enjoy "boerekos" as we would say.

We have a fully stocked bar and lounge area where you can sit down and relax sipping away on a sundowner next to the pool side. All our rooms are equipped with satellite TV on channels 1 to 12 in the comfort of your own room.

We have a lovely swimming pool area where you can have traditional "braais"/barbeques once a week, our swimming pool is solar heated for those who would like to have a swim.

Pure South African coffee is served on a daily basis in the dining room and lunch can be served on request. All our furniture is made of typical African railway sleepers, the decorations and walls are earthy colours, we have natural wood furniture and authentic paintings hanging all over the guesthouse. The guesthouse is build of natural material and at our place we are striving to live eco-friendly.

For the corporate side we have a lovely conference room which can take up to 46 delegates, our conference room are naturally cooled and it has its own private bathroom, overhead projector, sound system, white board, tables and chairs. We can cater for small functions, weddings, conferences, etc. We will plan the venue arrangement according to your needs. Our conference facility has a big screen for those sport fanatics.

For those who would like to come and visit family in Gauteng but don't always have a place to stay - we have a self-catering unit across the road from us with its own private parking, open lan dining and lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 3 rooms which can sleep 6 people. Cleaning can be provided on a daily basis on request
